All Primary School players in the Breedevallei/Langeberg district can represent the Breedevallei/Langeberg Schools tennis team.
Dates of Trials:
Trials 1: 10 April 2021
Trials 2: 12 June 2021
Trials 3: 4 September2021
Venues and order of play will be available the day after the entry deadline.
Please be prepared to play the full day.
Rules
The trials consist out of 3 legs.
Players will receive points for the position where they finish at each event. This ranking will be displayed on the website.
Age Groups will be u/10, u/11, u/12, u/14.
The best 2 results from the 3 legs will count towards Witzenberg/Breede Vallei/Langeberg ranking points.
Ties will be broken in the following order:
- 2 Best Scores out of the 3 events
In case of Tie between players on ranking:
- the best 3rd result will break the tie, if still tied,
- The last Head to Head result break the tie,
- If they did not play in trials, previous years ranking will break the tie.
If for any reason one of the trials could not be finished, the ranking will be dicided on the best result. If there are more than one player with the same points, the score for the second trials will be used to determine the higher ranked player.
The age group that you enter in for the trials, will be the age group in which you would be considered for any future Cavaliers Teams and Overberg Teams for 2021/22 e.g., Boland Country Districts Team.
All age groups will play with Green Balls as prescribed by SA tennis for Primary Schools.
Players who withdraw after the entry deadline for whatever reason, will forfeit their entry fee.
